MINDY YATES

Owner / Trainer

In December 2014 Mindy Yates began her very own journey to weight loss and healthy living. Today, she continues along that path and has transformed herself through her training expertise and education.

 

Mindy evokes that same passion and knowledge at MY Fitness through personal training, functional fitness, boot camp and nutrition planning. She is attentive to the needs and goals of every client – from helping them develop better eating habits for weight loss or muscle mass gains to sports specific conditioning and training. Mindy believes in a welcoming gym environment for both newcomers and experienced athletes.

 

Qualifications: 

  • American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer

  • International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) Performance Nutrition Specialist,

  • Member, United States Strongman

 

Achievements:

  • Qualifier for US Strongman National Competition, 2018 & 2019

  • CrossFit competitor, 2018

JENNIFER DELUCA

Trainer / Strongman Coach

Jennifer DeLuca's passion for fitness began as a client looking for a lifestyle change. After losing 90+ pounds, she has seen firsthand what hard work, dedication and consistency can do. Jen, inspired to share her knowledge and success, became an instructor to help others reach their goals. As a strength and conditioning coach, she understands the importance of weight training, especially as we age. Jen also enjoys challenging her clients by pushing them outside their comfort zone to discover their best versions of themselves.

 

At MY Fitness, Jen can provide individualized programming for both weight loss and muscle gain, or guidance for powerlifting and CrossFit exhibitions. A masters athlete, Jen has competed and placed in several strongman / strongwoman competitions, qualified for nationals, and placed second in her one and only CrossFit competition.

  • International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) Strength and Conditioning Coach

  • CPR  and AED Certifications

VICTOR FREEMAN

Bootcamp Instructor

Victor began his fitness journey in 2010, weighing in at an uncomfortable 220 lbs. and living a very sedentary lifestyle. Deciding to take his life back., Victor began eating better and started working out. Soon he realized he was losing weight and had more energy. And he started to feel better about the way he looked in the mirror. With the motivation, passion,  and a new love for fitness, Victor decided to take the plunge and get certified as an instructor.

​

Victor brings 10+ years teaching in the fitness industry with experience in spin, bootcamp, HIIT, step, senior fitness, and kickboxing - a jack of all trades! He loves his growing tribe of “Victor” followers and holds them accountable for their workouts. Victor truly cares for the clients who takes his classes and wants to help them reach their fitness goals. He wants them to walk away knowing that they are valued and loved.

MONICA RIMMEL

Bootcamp Instructor

Monica Rimmel’s competitive spirit began at an early age. At six years old, she started gymnastics and competed for seven years. As an adult, she has participated in 5 CrossFit and 9 Strongman contests and completed a triathlon and many 5K and 10K races. Monica’s passion for health and fitness continues to grow, and she has been an active member of MY Fitness since Day 1. She has been coaching bootcamps for nearly two years and enjoys bringing aspects of Strongman training to her sessions. She inspires her clients to pick up weights and implements that they never imagined possible and helps them achieve their goals. Whether it’s strongman or swimming, Monica finds her workouts therapeutic for mind and body.
